I am an improviser, actor, writer, director and deviser who was born and raised in the metropolis of Elgin, Illinois, approximately 30 miles from the great city of Chicago.  After spending 10 years as an artist in Chicago I embarked on an adventure to pursue my graduate degree in theatre (University of Arkanas, 2015) where I co-founded 5 Months Pregnant Long-Form Improv and ArkansasStaged (performing at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art) and worked professionally in the community with regional companies like TheatreSquared and local companies like Artist’s Lab Theatre and Trike. While in Arkansas, I appeared in the featured films Valley Inn with Joey Lauren Adams and Gordon Family Tree and worked with Terrapin Theater, a visiting puppet company from Australia.

My Chicago credits include: Amy in Accidental Rapture and Abuelita/Ensemble Puppets in Mariposa Nocturna at 16th Street Theatre, Lady Macbeth: Macbeth (Muse of Fire) Mary Magdalene: The Last Days of Judas Iscariot and ensemble roles in Talk Radio (The Gift Theatre),  Sister Mary Kate: Beggars in the House of Plenty (Mary Arrchie), and Gay Martini: Berwyn Avenue (VonOrthal Puppets) among others. Unversity Theatre credits include Gertie: 33 Variations, Joanne: Company, Lane: The Clean House, Adult Woman: Spring Awakening, Linda: Kin.

I’m hot for improv, poetry, puppets, devised theatre and watching the hummingbirds that visit my porch.
